  • About

  • 2 cups fresh orange sections
  • 2 cups fresh grapefruit sections
  • 2 limes or lemons, peeled, seeded, and sectioned
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange or grapefruit juice (collected from sections above)
  • 1 teaspoon peeled and finely minced fresh ginger
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Drops of honey to taste

Combine the Citrus sections in a mixing bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine the vinegar, the 3 tablespoons of reserved citrus juice, ginger, cayenne, salt and pepper, and mint. Whisk in the olive oil and add drops of honey as necessary to balance the tartness of the fruit. Pour the dressing over the citrus and stir gently to combine.
