Ponzu makes a delicious dipping sauce or drizzle for grilled and deep-fried fish, poultry, and vegetables. In Japan, true ponzu is made with the juice of a small, aromatic citrus fruit called yuzu, rarely seen in this country. for information on mirin and Asian fish sauce.
Whisk all the ingredients together or combine in a jar and shake. Set aside for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
