3tablespoons homemade chicken or vegetable stock or your favorite canned broth, or water
⅓cup stirred coconut milk
2teaspoons packed light or dark brown sugar
2tablespoonsfresh lime juice
1 to 2tablespoonssoy sauce, or to taste
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. The sauce should have the consistency of heavy cream. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Return to room temperature before using.
