  • 6 heads garlic
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • large pinch of saf

Method

Separate the garlic into cloves, peel them, cover with water in a small pan, add the oil, spices and salt, cover, and simmer for 25–30 minutes until tender and the flavour has mellowed.
