I like to use suet puddings as a change from sponge puddings. You can experiment with different fruit, but blackberry and apple make a perfect seasonal pairing.

Ingredients

  • 250 g self-raising flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 120 g

Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6.

Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Throw in the suet and add enough milk to allow the mix to come together to a sticky dough. You might need about 100
