  • 3 oz (75 g) granulated sugar
  • 5 fl oz (125 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 6 oz (150 g) fresh cranberries
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml spoon) cinnamon and ½ teaspoon nutmeg or 1 teaspoon (5 ml spoon) ground allspice


Stir the sugar into the orange juice in a pan and add the cranberries and spice. Cover, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Store in a covered container in the fridge.
