Cranberry sauce is one of Nonna Romana’s favorite things. “I love too much,” she says every year as we pass the sauce around the table. While there’s something incredibly nostalgic for me about opening canned cranberry sauce, it is very easy to make your own. Seriously, just throw everything in a saucepan and simmer. It is also a great way to be able to control the sugar content and add flavors, such as limoncello, which gives this American classic a bit of Italian flair.</
