This unhappy Queen, wife of George III, seems to have been enthusiastic about puddings. Her tart, which is very rich and good, is less well known than Apple Charlotte.

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb. (360 g.) short crust pastry

Method

Grate all the peel from the oranges and lemon and mix with all the juice. Stir in 4 oz. (120 g.) of the sugar and the beaten egg yolks. Line a round flat baking tin with the pastry and pour in the mi
