Pale Fruit Salad


  • white grapes
  • fresh pineapple
  • fresh pears (never use apple, which is too crisp)
  • tinned or fresh lichees (a very elegant flavour with the tea)
  • apricots
  • peaches
  • nectarines
  • greengages or gage plums
  • ½ pint (3 dl.) tea


Make up exactly as above. If you use orange scented pekoe, the juice of half an orange added to the fruit is very good.
