Coleslaw is a popular side dish for fish and shellfish, so it makes sense to season it with the ubiquitous seafood seasoning blend from the coastal Atlantic states. The mayonnaise helps carry the flavors of the spices. You can also use the seasoning to flavor mayonnaise for dipping sauces or sandwich spreads.
