Swiss chard makes a great accompaniment to grilled or Sautéed meats or seafood.
Using a paring knife, cut the green leafy part of the chard away from the stems. Wash the greens, spin dry, and reserve.
In a large sauté pan, combine the garlic and olive oil over medium heat. As soon as you see bubbles forming around the garlic, add the chard. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until any liquid released by the chard evaporates. Season with salt and pepper.
