This is both the natural starter and the sourdough starter called for in the recipe that follows, depending on whether you feed the seed culture after it froths or before it almost dies.
Put the flour in a bowl, pour the seed culture over it, and stir to combine. Pour the water over the mixture and stir to combine (mixed method only).
