Anise Cookies

I got this recipe from George Feil, one of my longtime massage clients. George was 88 years old, but still drove and was completely independent. He looked like he was in his mid 60s. He made these cookies and the Swedish Butter Cookies as a Christmas gift for me and my family one year. We loved them, and George was nice enough to give me his recipes for the cookbook.
