The name of these cookies means “little rings” in Greek. They are related to the taralli, although these are more buttery. And these are brushed with beaten egg and sprinkled with sesame seeds before baking for a little crunch on the outside of a tender cookie. Thanks to Michelle Tampakis for sharing this recipe.
