Gingerbread Holiday Cottage

This great house is based on an idea from my friend Kyra Effren: Rather than use random pieces to construct a house, Kyra developed a method for using two 10 x 15-inch pans of gingerbread dough and cutting the two resulting baked slabs of gingerbread into all the pieces necessary for constructing the cottage. Barbara Bria Pugliese took Kyra’s pattern and designed the following beautiful Christmas cottage.
