“Kheer is rice pudding – but not anything like British school dinners! This is a fragrant, warming pudding that will instantly transport you to an Indian household. It’s served at all times of day but I particularly like it for breakfast. It’s reminiscent of my childhood and more recent travels to my ancestral village. If you want, you could infuse it with saffron or rosewater.”
