  • 150 g ( oz/1 cup) plain (all-purpose) flour

Method

1 Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F/ Gas 3).

2 Sift the flour and cocoa powder into a bowl. Beat together the butter and sugar in a separate bowl until light in colour, about 2-3 minutes. Gradually add the egg yolks.
