Ingredients: ½ fine dark chocolate block, for shavings to decorate; 85 g (3 oz) Vanilla Ice Cream; 200 ml (7 fl oz/generous ¾ cup) whole milk; 100 g (3½ oz) Cherry Compote; Griottine cherries (see Glossary), to decorate; 150 g (5½ oz) Chocolate Ice Cream, omitting the coffee; 150 g (5½ oz) Chocolate Ice Cream, omitting the coffee

This is an adult milkshake – I love the idea of taking the classic flavours of black forest and making them into a drink.

Ingredients

150 g (5½ oz) Chocolate Ice Cream, omitting the coffee
85 g

Gluten-free
Vegetarian
Drinks

Method

Put all of the ingredients (except the griottine cherries) in a stainless steel container or measuring jug and blitz with a hand-held blender.
Pour into tall glasses, decorate with griottine cherries and chocolate shavings and serve immediately.
