3D Gelatina Spiders & Flowers

Arachnophobia, the fear of spiders, affects nearly a third of all people. Add to that trypanophobia, the fear of needles, and this is one scary recipe! The flowers and spiders are made by injecting a milk-based gelatin mixture into a clear sweet gelatina.

Gelatin flowers have their origins in Mexico, where they are called gelatina floral. The spiders originated in my kitchen after my boys were not overly impressed with the pretty flowers.
