Mussels, olive oil, and garlic make a pungent combination with noodles. This is a simple dish you can prepare all year round, since all the ingredients are readily available. It takes 15 minutes to prepare if you already have the pasta at hand.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds mussels

  • ½ cup dry white wine

Method

Scrub the mussels thoroughly, remove the beards, and leave them in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes. Discard all the opened ones. Meanwhile, set a large pot of water to boil with salt and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil.

In another pot, cook the mussels, covered, over high heat with the win
