Nathaniel Gubbins — aka Edward Spencer — concocted a spicy grill sauce dedicated to himself. It is very easy to make in a double boiler or in a bowl set over hot water, and is actually delicious. Grilled chicken wings make the ideal foil for Mr Gubbins tasty hot dressing. Perish the thought, but if you wanted to do something entertaining with a turkey leg then Gubbins sauce is also the very thing.
