  • 120 g plain flour
  • 12 g baking powder
  • 1 egg

Method

Sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl and add the egg and sugar Mix these together as you slowly add the milk and then the softened butter Heat a little oil in a pan and, using a dessertspoon, drop in some batter Cook as for griddle pancakes, above. Serve straight away with a selection of sweet and fruit toppings.
