This is another recipe in the little ‘desserts-with-digestive-biscuits’ series. You can make infinite variations of this recipe by adding dried fruit, marshmallows, milk chocolate icing, etc. But in my view the figs give the traybake a little ‘crunch’ that goes very well with the ‘fudginess’ of the dates. A rich and sweet dessert-in short, everything I love!
