  • 75 g caster sugar
  • 10 ml water

Method

  1. Heat the caster sugar and water in a small heavy-based saucepan over high heat without stirring until the mixture reaches a medium caramel colour, then carefully add the butter and stir to combine. Add the quinoa, salt and cardamom, then remove from the heat and stir to evenly coat the quinoa.
