  • 165 ml milk
  • 70 ml pouring (35%) cream
  • 4 large egg y

Method

  1. Make the custard just before serving as it is served warm. Heat the milk and cream in a small heavy-based saucepan over medium heat to simmering point.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whisk the egg yolks and caster sugar in a heatproof bowl for 5 minutes or until pale and creamy. With the motor running, slowly add the hot milk mixture, then whisk to combine. Sit the bowl
