Ingredients

  • 50 ml verjuice
  • 40 g currants

Method

  1. Heat the verjuice and currants in a small heavy-based saucepan over low heat to simmering point, then simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to cool so the currants soak up the flavour. Set aside until required. Drain just before serving, discarding the liquid.
