We did try to create a home-made baked beans recipe from scratch, but it just wasn’t the same as good old Heinz. So, this is a simple recipe using the most classic of tinned baked beans, although not quite as you know them.
The beans are good served plain and simple, on fire toast; they also make a wonderful accompaniment to kejriwal or a Parsi omelette.
