This is a sweet and simple crowd-pleaser of a cocktail. To enjoy it at its best, serve in chilled champagne flutes.



  1. Using a pestle and mortar, bash the cardamom pods to release the seeds.
  2. Pour the rose syrup into a small jug and add the bashed cardamom. Stir well and leave to infuse for 30 minutes.
  3. Pour the infused rose syrup through a fine sieve or drinks strainer into a large jug (big enough to hold the other ingredients). Add the sugar syrup and stir well.
