Pasta Salad with Smoked Trout and Fresh Dill

This is one of my favorite summer salads. Any smoked fish you like can be substituted for the trout, such as hot-smoked salmon or tuna.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated or prepared horseradish
  • cup buttermilk
  • ½

Method

In a small bowl, combine the horseradish, buttermilk, and Homemade Mayonnaise. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Set aside for at least 20 minutes for the flavors to develop. You can thin dressing with a little more buttermilk, if you want.
