Semifreddo, which translates to “half frozen” in Italian, is very easy to make and keep. This is one I like to do in the winter. You could substitute whatever dried fruits you like in the semifreddo. For the puree, use IQF (individually quick frozen without sugar) blackberries—simply thaw and purée them, strain, and flavor to taste with drops of lemon juice and honey.
