This is a grown-up summer fruit salad in a glass! Be sure to give the fruit time to macerate and flavor the drink.
In a large pitcher, combine the wine, orange juice, lime juice, and sugar and stir vigorously to dissolve the sugar.
Add the orange slices, apple wedges, and berries and refrigerate the sangria for 6 hours or overnight to let the flavors develop. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes with some of the macerated fruit for garnish.
