Ayurveda has long considered almond milk to be very nourishing, Sattvic nuts that help to produce Ojas. Almonds are packed with protein and nutrients, and are rejuvenating and strength-building. They are also believed to nourish the bones and the deeper tissues of the nervous and reproductive systems. I recommend removing the skin from the almonds, which not only makes them more digestible, but also makes the milk snow-white and oh-so pretty.
