  • About

Coconut milk is another easy-to-make dairy alternative. Find several methods below – tinned coconut milk is the easiest option but the BPA used to line the tins makes it the least favourable. Although they are wrapped in plastic, creamed coconut bars are the better choice, but they can make a slightly grainier milk unless you strain it.

Ingredients

Using Dessicated Makes 750 ML

  • 125–160 g (1½–2 cups) desiccated coconut or fresh coconut flesh plus 1 litre

Method

  • Add the ingredients to the blender and blend on high for several minutes until thick and creamy. Strain the milk, if desired. Use immediately or keep in the fridge and consume within 1–2 days.
