Dave’s Grill in Montauk is my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I go there when I want to feel like I’m on vacation and totally relax. Everything on the menu is incredible, and most of it stays the same year to year, but there are always some additions and some dishes that disappear. They used to have coconut shrimp as an appetizer and served it with marmalade, and I miss it so much that I have to make my own now! Be sure not to overcook the shrimp or it will get rubbery.
