Eggs in a Basket, also known to Americans as Toad in the Hole, is nothing more than a fried egg cooked in a piece of bread. The bread becomes crispy and buttery as it fries along with the egg. As for the egg, it is cooked just until the white is set but the yolk is still runny, so you can mop it up with the crispy, buttery fried bread.
