Breadcrumbed and Grilled Pig’s Trotters

Method

Cook the trotters as described and cut in half lengthways. Flour, egg and breadcrumb them, sprinkle with melted lard or butter and grill gently as for all breadcrumbed items.

Serve the trotters as they are or accompanied with a dish of mashed potatoes.
