Mushroom solyanka

• 6-8 dried white mushrooms
• 1 carrot
• 1 stick celery

Boil the dried mushrooms in 1½ litres (2½ pt) water, until soft. Remove mushrooms and cut into thin strips, returning them to the liquid to boil for another 30 minutes. Add the carrot and celery, cut
