Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonssalt
  • 1 parsnip
  • 1 carrot

Method

Cut all the root vegetables and onion into small pieces, mix with the other ingredients except the garlic in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the chopped garlic to the hot mixture and stir well in. Older meat can be placed directly into the marinade; let it cool first for a fresher meat.
