  • 1 kg (2 lb) dark breadcrumbs, preferably from different types of bread

Method

Put the crumbs in a slow oven until thoroughly dry. Then put them into a bucket of 5 litres (1 gallon) boiling water and leave to stand for 12 hours. Meanwhile boil the mint and the blackcurrant leaves sep
