Cut the chicken into four pieces, place in a saucepan, add the water and lemon juice, the butter and salt and stew for 1 hour over a low flame. Meanwhile prepare the drop noodles: thoroughly mix together a tablespoon of flour and 5 tablespoons boiling water; let cool, then add one egg and enough flour to make a dough with the consistency of double cream, adding a little more water if necessary.
