  • 250 g (8 oz) buckwheat flour

Method

Warm the flour in the oven, then put in an enamelled container and mix with salted boiling water until it forms a thick gruel. Cut the bacon into fine strips, fry lightly, then add to the mixture. Mix well, place in a baking tin and bake in the oven (200°C, 400°F, gas mark 6) for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
