Wash the chicken thoroughly, then cut into small pieces; fry for 10-15 minutes in a mixture of the butter and rendered fat from the chicken until a golden colour. Fry the onions in the same pan. Grind up the ginger, paprika, cinnamon, salt and cloves, combine the chopped parsley with the nuts and vinegar, add to the chicken, mix everything together and simmer, tightly covered, for 20-30 minutes
