Ingredients

  • 500 g (1 lb) beetroot or spinach
  • 2-3 cloves garlic

Method

Cook the vegetables briefly, and coarsely chop the spinach or finely slice the beetroot. To prepare the dressing: crush the garlic together with the nuts, mix with the chopped onions, finely chopped green herbs and spices, add vinegar and salt to taste and mix thoroughly. Add the dressing to the vegetables, mix well and serve.
