Ingredients

  • 125 g (4 oz) kidney beans, presoaked
  • 3-4 onions, finely chopped

Method

Boil the beans rapidly in a large amount of water for 10 minutes, then simmer until soft. Drain, reserving the liquid. Mash the beans and mix with all the remaining ingredients, adding some of the liquid if necessary until a rough purée consistency is achieved. Serve cold.
