The basic ingredients are flour, warm water and salt in the following proportions.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 500 ml (16 fl oz) water

Method

Dissolve the salt in a little of the water in a bowl, then gradually add the flour and the rest of the water in turns, stirring constantly. Knead the dough and form into a ball, roll up in a napkin and leave for 15-20 minutes before rolling out.
