  • 300 g (10 oz) dried peas
  • 4-5 tablespoonsbuckwheat groats

Method

Boil the peas and groats in 2 litres ( pt) water, adding the peas a little ahead of the groats. Add the milk, bring back to the boil, add the salt and butter, and simmer for a minute or two before
