Method

Make a dough as in the koldunai recipe above; roll out, cut into 6 cm (2½ in) squares. Grate the potatoes, and squeeze well. Fry the onions with the fat bacon, finely diced, remove from the pan and reserve the fat. Mix the grated potatoes with the onions and fat bacon, and add salt and pepper. Fill the dough squares with the potato mixture, seal and boil them in salted water for about 10 minute
