If you love hot food, this is for you! It’s so hot that I tell my girls that it’s age restricted. If spicy hot food isn’t your thing, reduce the amount of chilli to your liking – it will still be extremely tasty and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • 1 green pepper, deseeded and c

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and add the peppers, chilli powder, paprika, cumin and cayenne pepper. Cook until the peppers have softened and the spices are fragrant – about 7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute or two.
  3. Add the basic bolognaise and stir in the beans and the tomato sauce.
