A hot dish is a popular Northern Midwestern casserole usually containing a starch, meat, and some sort of canned soup. My version skips the meat and uses leftover White Bean Chili as the base, but it doesn’t skip the most popular starch topping: frozen tater tots. (Because let’s be real—we all need to feed our tater tot cravings now and then!) I also fold in chopped cauliflower to help thicken the dish without altering the flavor too much.
