This is a savory version of traditional monkey bread. I like to make my sage pull-apart bread in a Savarin pan. If you have one, use it—it makes for a gorgeous presentation.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick/56 g) unsalted butter

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a plate with paper towels and butter a Savarin pan, a 9-inch (23-cm) Bundt pan, or a loaf pan (or set aside a nonstick pan).

In a small saucepan, melt the butter. When it foams, add the sage leaves and sauté until they are just beginning
